Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Descrai ("we", "our", "the Service") is an AI-powered product description generator. By uploading a product CSV you receive AI-generated copy for use in your online store. Access is provided via a web application at descrai-nine.vercel.app.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You may not use the Service to generate illegal, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the Service's APIs.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated descriptions before publishing.
  • One account per person. You may not share account credentials.

3. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Pro) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

Free-tier usage is limited to 10 descriptions per account lifetime. Paid plans include the credit allowance described on the pricing page, reset on the first day of each calendar month.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the product data you upload. The generated descriptions are licensed to you for any commercial purpose once produced. We do not claim ownership over the output.

5. Liability Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated descriptions will be accurate, free of errors, or suitable for any particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for publishing AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or attempt fraudulent activity (including repeated account deletion to obtain free credits). You may deactivate your account at any time from the Settings page. Deactivated accounts are retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
